Brian Johnson Of AC/DC Amazed By Revolutionary New Hearing Device

Wednesday, June 8th 2016 12:24pm

Singer Brian Johnson with Australian rock band AC/DC is hoping to sing again with the band after testing out a revolutionary new hearing device. He had previously been warned off singing again with the loud heavy rock band as experts said he was at risk of losing his hearing completely if he continued.

Asius Technologies have created a new hearing device which is an in-ear monitor, and Stephen Ambrose who is founder of the company invited Brian to test it out to see if it would be beneficial to him. He is astounded with the results and delighted that he may be able to perform live again with AC/DC.

This clever device works by removing static pressure, and filters any audio so that it is of a better quality so that there is a much reduced risk of it damaging your hearing.

Talking about the device Brian Johnson said: "It WORKS. It just totally works and you can't argue with that. I was really moved and amazed to be able to hear music again like I haven't heard for several years now. I can't wait for it to be miniaturized so I can use it in every situation from normal communication, going out to noisy restaurants, to performing live music on stage."

Axl Rose, who was formerly with Guns `n` Roses, has temporarily stepped into Johnson`s shoes and is performing lead vocals with the band on their current tour, and in fact they have been playing in the UK as part of the European leg of the tour to mixed reviews due to the absence of Johnson.

Technology is always moving forward and it is no different in the case of hearing aids and other types of hearing devices that can help prevent any damage done to your hearing. It will be interesting to see how Johnson gets on with using this particular device and if he returns to AC/DC in the near future.
